2 Cups Bourbon
2 Bunches Fresh Mint
½ Cup Water
½ Cup Sugar
Make a Simple Syrup, mix the water and sugar together in a saucepan and bring boil for 5 minutes; stirring constantly so the sugar does not burn. Transfer syrup to a covered container and add about 7 sprigs of mint; refrigerate overnight. Set out 5 mint julep cups out and fill with crushed ice. Add one tablespoon of the mint syrup and two ounces of Bourbon. Stir vigorously with a spoon so the cup begins to frost. Garnish with mint sprigs
